Miss Homestead Rodeo Queen 2024

Introduction

In 1949 in the city of Homestead, FL the first ever Homestead Rodeo was held in Municipal Park. Shortly thereafter the Homestead Rodeo Association formed in 1952 and this historical event began to become a permanent, annual occurrence for all locals to look forward to. In 1992, Hurricane Andrew struck South Florida, resulting in the destruction of the rodeo grounds that had been meticulously built from the ground up. Through dedication and hard work, the HRA diligently rebuilt the destruction. Today, we can happily experience the results in Homestead, FL.

Miss Homestead Rodeo Queen 2024

Our CEO, Emily Delgado, will be competing for the title of Miss Homestead Rodeo Queen 2024, continuing another tradition that is part of this communal event! This exciting event will grant Miss Delgado the amazing opportunity to not only show off her expertise on American Western ideals, but also to showcase her glorious jewelry items from the shop. In the upcoming months, our CEO will proudly be wearing the Native American turquoise jewelry set. She will showcase this jewelry, along with the pride stemming from such influential roots, alongside various other products from the store.

What does it mean to be Homestead Rodeo Queen?

A rodeo queen is the female who represents the sport of rodeo, bringing pride to the traditions and practices of those that are part of American western culture. She is a leader, educator, and displays what it is to be a “lady” to those that may look up to her. Being a part of her community is essential whether it be educating the youth or assisting her elders around the local town. Studying and being aware of those around her is imperative in being not only a rodeo queen of the community, but also of a tradition that has been held for decades.

Conclusion

The rich history of the American west is ultimately community, and with hard work and community anything can be accomplished in the end. By running for Miss Homestead Rodeo Queen, our CEO is not only representing E&M Western Couture but a full history of western traditions!
